On Thursday, June 20, Argentina will play the first match of the 2024 Copa America against either Trinidad & Tobago or Canada.
The winners of the 2022 World Cup and the holders will take on the victor of a qualifying play-off in March in Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta to begin the competition.
The tournament draw was held on Thursday and will take place between June 20 and July 14.
In Group A, Lionel Messi’s team will also play Chile and Peru.
While Mexico was paired with Ecuador, Venezuela, and Jamaica, the United States were matched against Uruguay, Panama, and Bolivia.
Nine-time champions Group D will see Brazil play Paraguay, Colombia, and either Costa Rica or Honduras, who meet in the other qualifying play-off.

What is the tournament format?
The top two teams in each group advance to the knockout stages, which begin with the quarterfinals, with the 16 teams divided into four groups of four. A runner-up will compete against each group winner.
The four winners of those matches move on to the semi-finals, where on Sunday, July 14, at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, the winners of the two semifinal matches square off in the championship game.
